History Is What You Make It! What if the
Ancient Egyptians has worshiped the god of commerce? What if world
leaders left global warming unchecked? What if Japan hadn't bombed Pearl
Harbor? What if the Aztecs had invaded Spain? What if you led the world!
Egyptian Period
I fear that war is inevitable. Our Persian neighbors have been advancing
their troops closer and closer as the weeks pass. I, Ramses, leader of
the Egyptians, cannot allow them to take what is rightly ours. Little do
they know that we have been building our own army of warriors, and we
will surely be prepared for the time when they decide to try and take
our land.
Renaissance Period
There is a revolution afoot among the growing middle class. My people
have begun to murmur of democracy. My advisors warn me that my monarchy
may be replaced with a democratic form of government. This troubles me
greatly. Do my people not know how I have sacrificed for them? The
students and political theorists proclaim that democracy will bring
about happiness through social equality which will then lead to economic
prosperity. But who among the working class is fit to rule?
Modern Period
My defensive espionage actions have enraged the Turks. To relieve
political tensions, a contingent of Turkish emissaries recently traveled
to Egypt seeking reparations. My representatives countered their
diplomatic demands with a request to secede part of Turkish territory to
Egypt. Displeased with this proposal, the Turks have begun to amass an
army.
Future Period
The world is in the midst of an industrial revolution, causing an
alarming increase in pollution and overpopulation. Natural resources are
becoming scarce. The development of Eco Transit will buy our scientists
time to discover the material secrets required for underwater
colonization.
