METAL HEARTS: REPLICANTS RAMPAGE by DreamCatcher Games and Akella for the PC is a science-fiction role playing game that takes players to the edge of the universe. The game starts when the craft piloted by Sheris Sheridan and Lanthan Signi crashes on the small planet of Procyon after a storm in space. The problem with Procyon, besides being almost completely unknown, is that it is under the rule of a totalitarian empire that controls all of the fuel on the planet, preventing Sheridan and Signi from leaving. That is where players set out to work against the empire so that they may tap into that reserve and find a way home. To accomplish this they must first find a way to unite the different races that all reside on Procyon, and that won’t be easy since these races have been at war with each other for years. The intense turn-based combat scenarios and engaging graphics will draw players into this strange world as they find their way around and run into mutants, humans, nomads, and cyborgs and recruit them to their cause. There are also several puzzle solving missions to challenge player’s skills and other scenarios that teams of up to six can compete in.
